It is made out of a black silk that is heavy enough to really hold the shape and lines that you see and has a rich luxe feel to it. The skirt is wonderful and is cut to be very full. It falls to about the mid calf which was the length of this era. I have styled it over a crinoline so that you can see just how full it is and being a true circle skirt, it could go fuller still.
